PRESS RELEASE - for immediate release

Looney Labs Focuses Their Distribution Options
Streamlined distribution to provide benefits to retailers

College Park, MD, January 5th, 2012 - Looney Labs announced today that in an effort to increase efficiency in the market and to expand their marketing support of retail stores, they will be condensing their distribution network, effective immediately. In the U.S. hobby game market, Looney Labs game titles will be available through ACD Distribution and Alliance/Diamond Game Distributors. In Canada, Lion Rampant will become Looney Lab's primary distributor, while Publisher Services, Inc. (PSI) will continue to supply Looney Labs games to international markets as well as the U.S. mass market and book trade.  http://looneylabs.com/authorized-distributors

"This change offers Looney Labs significant logistical savings, while continuing to offer our retailers a choice of distributors." said Kristin Looney, CEO of Looney Labs, "I am very excited about this change, although it is certainly bittersweet. We have many friends at the smaller distributors who have sold our games for many years, and we do appreciate all that they have done for us."

"Consolidating distribution from dozens of companies down to just a few will not only streamline internal Looney Labs operations, but the new distribution network will offer better opportunities to fine tune our communications with retailers," Looney explained. "The big win for retailers is that our marketing kits and promotional materials will now become available through Alliance and ACD on a subscription basis, something our retailers have been requesting. And when we make short-run items, we will have the ability to offer them to stores through distribution, something we were unable to do with the larger network. Having this ability will insure more and better short run items make it to the marketplace!"   http://looneylabs.com/marketing-subscription.html

"As the two largest hobby game distributors in North America, both ACD and Alliance have been instrumental in helping Looney Labs grow to where the company is today," Looney concluded, "and we are excited to be working with them going forward to bring our marketing materials into even more hobby stores!"
