The Icehouse Game System has evolved repeatedly since 1989, when the Looneys made pyramids by pouring liquid resin into molds in their backyard shed. They've gone from folded paper pyramids, to wooden pyramids, to the injection-molded stacking pieces sold today. As the pyramids have evolved, so too have the ways we play with them. We started with just the one game, Icehouse. Now, over 100 “Icehouse games” are listed online, and more are being invented all the time. The way we package and sell the pyramids has also changed over the years. Each new version has attracted new fans, and more awards.
