Eric Zuckerman
was once described as a "Rabbitsaurus" by Alison,
since he's like a prehistoric forerunner to the modern Lab Rabbit.
He's been promoting Icehouse
since
1992, and he became a rabid, shirt-carrying fan of Fluxx
as soon as it was released in '97. Eric loves teaching
local gamers
to play Looney
Labs games; as the organizer of the
first-ever Icehouse tournament outside of the Eastern Time Zone,
he's a fixture at cons, surounded by giant
pyramids,
with stashes set up in front of him as gamer-bait. WCI2 is to
follow this Memorial Day weekend at BayCon. Eric also assisted
Mike Sugarbaker at the
DunDraCon demo, and periodically runs "Icehouse Down th'
Pub"
gatherings, including the West Coast I:tMCS
release
party, "Pyramids at the Pyramid".
Eric maintains one
of the earliest fan pages for Icehouse, where you'll find
"The Piecenik Pages", encouraging the the creation
of one-of-a-
kind sets. He has constructed a handful of uniquely-named
polymer
clay stashes,
and a bunch of different prototypes,
including 1-pointer earrings
and a Daddy-O
action
figure. He's also created a couple of his own Icehouse games,
Precary-
Ice and Martian Backgammon (rules coming soon). Recently,
he corrected the oversight of everything-but-Fluxx missing from
a major online gamer database |
