Petra is the Looney Labs Visiting Artist and
occasional Tapioca Chef. She went to Amherst
College with Alison, where they spent a lot of time eating
maple sugar candy and singing rude madrigals. Petra prefers the
Looney Labs card games, particularly Nanofictionary,
and goodschaufenster.com games like, well, Schaufenster (which
enables her to show off her cheesy
fake German accent). She is also a recent convert to Werewolf, and enjoys lynching her housemates whenever possible. Because they're ALWAYS werewolves. Oooh, and don't forget Slapticus (known to the rest of the world as Perpetual Commotion)... I love me some slappin' and cussin'!
In real life, Petra is an assistant producer on National
Public Radio's Weekend
All Things Considered. She believes radio is the best medium
ever, and some day plans to run her own broadcasting empire of
micropower community stations (Micropower
to the people! Everybody write your congressperson!). In her spare
time she bellydances, sculpts,
reads whatever she can get her hands on, and, of course, works
on art projects for Looney Labs. She is also the proud owner of the handpainted Giant Pyramids of Pain, and will show them off at the slightest provocation. WA! |
