Howdy! I'm Clark, and I live in Ann Arbor, MI with my wife, Amanda, our daughter, Élanor, our son Derek, and our one remaining guinea pig. Each November, I host an abstract games tournament at U*Con here in Ann Arbor. Every year that tournament has featured Looney Labs products, both among the games played and as prizes. For the past several years, I have been in charge of the non-computer gaming at Penguicon, but I'm taking a break from that for 2008 so I can spend more time playing and less time running the room. In the past I have also attended Dragon*Con and Origins, but not in the past few years. An interview I conducted with Andy Looney appeared in issue 13 (Spring 2003) of Abstract Games Magazine. Both my wife's and my own extended families have several Looney Labs games (mostly gifts from us), and we have pretty much the whole line-up on our game shelves. Aquarius is one of the most often played game in our home, and my abstract gaming buddies and I frequently play several of the Icehouse games, especially Martian Chess, Zendo and Ice Towers. With the help of one of these friends, I have co-programmed a Zillions of Games script to play Proton, which is available as a free download. You might say I've gone totally Looney!

Aside from Looney Labs games, I also enjoy other types of face-to-face games including abstract, German/family/theme, railroad, card and light sports. I'm an avid caver and a member of the National Speleological Society, an organization dedicated to the safe exploration and ecological protection of our nation's cave systems. My wife (fretless bass) and I (electric guitar) also belong to an Americana style bar band called Gingerine. We have yet to play live anywhere, but we've begun recording our first album. We have no idea when it will be released. Personally, I also enjoy talking about religion, theology, philosophy and the search for truth in general. Maybe I'm not that much of a lunatic after all?
